Doesn't matter if it's about a story or about a topic I want to dive deeper in. The author spent energy gathering the right words to transmit their wisdom.

I have a backlog of about 10 books I'm still making my way through, but I couldn't resist these beauties 😍

Something magical happens when you surrender to the wisdom of your body.

I spend most of the week in my sanctuary (aka my bedroom) with a fever. Once upon a time, my story would have been that it was awful. This week, that story burned in a fire ceremony and a new one was born.

It goes something like this.

"Once upon a time there's was this woman who never listened to me. She forgot that she also needed to replenish and nourish me. I did my best to keep up, but it was time for us to connect. I got sick.

The woman stopped.
She closed her eyes.
And said: "Dear body. I'm sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you. I love you".

And I felt her love again. We were once again connected. Together we healed. Together we grew strong. Together we accomplished our dreams"

Have to looked at what patterns of thought, habits, or emotions are ready for you to let go of?

Have you devoted time to releasing or transmuting what is ready to leave your system.

With winter encouraging her gentle cocooning, it's an invitation to spend a few more moments withing to be ready to pant new seeds for times ahead.

This is disturbing for two main reasons.

1️⃣ My son collected these and "hid" them in his closet and under his bed until he had enough for him and his brother to build boats.

He's resourceful and persistent that little one 💗. So proud of how he's been planning his boat craft creation and take one step at a time to make it happen.

This is manifestation in progress.

2️⃣ I'm shocked at the amount of plastic coming out of my home. 🤦‍♀️
This is but a small sample of mainly egg and fruit containers. Looks like there's more work to be done in reducing my footprint.

One thing I learned pretty quickly when working with journeying is to be open to what comes.

You cannot force anything to happen, just experience it.

Naturally, odd things do happen 🙃

While connecting to the Akashic Records for a client's Reading, spontaneously everything goes 🔥🔥🔥. It was an invitation to release one of my own patterns.

One I didn't realize was there. But needed to be seen. Needed me to say goodbye so that it could evolve.

I know many of you do your own Shadow work, and I wanted to remind you that it doesn't have to look a certain way. You don't always need to know it's full story, where it came from (past life, ancestral, etc).

Trust what you are experiencing and work with what is being shown. ❤

A good crying session 💦 later and I'm as energized as ever!

The boy's version of story time 📖.

My youngest is going through his own rite of passage. From toddlerhood to boyhood.

I will miss his baby chub.

I'm embracing how he's becoming his own little man.

I'm so proud how he can stand in his own power and communicate hus needs.

I'm grateful to have the privilege to witness him and guide him through the process.

The other day he said "when I'm a parent, I want to go slow and "feel" what my kids need, just like you do".

Melts my heart ❤️

And so, from his own observation, I'm going slow capturing beautiful moments.

This January, instead of jumping into go-go-go mode, take some time to set your intentions for the year.

Think of January as those delicious first few hours when you arrive at your vacation destination. You take in the beauty of the new environment. You explore what’s possible for you to experience while you’re there. You schedule your activities based on how you want to feel and what you want to experience and when.

Then you go and actually LIVE your vacation. If things don’t go right and you have to reschedule, you don’t feel guilty, or bad about yourself that you didn’t stick to your plan. You make your best effort to enjoy the new direction.

Do you have a birthday ritual?

I think this is my new favourite one. Today on 1-11 is my birthday. To celebrate I pulled a card to guide me for my year ahead and honestly it could not be more perfect!

First of all, its card #35.
3+5=8

8 is actually my numerology number and the infinity symbol is close to my heart (and inked on my hand).

There are no coincidences. And this synchronicity solidifies that the energy I tapped into for my 2022 year is on point. I'm working on a podcast to walk you through what that practice looked like. It will be out soon!

This year, is the year I explore the teachings of Shamanism. marcelalobosmystic 's book "Awakening Your Inner Shaman" where she walks you through the Medicine Wheel is next on my reading list. In fact most of my books on my reading list this year are on the topic of Shamanism (I'll snap a pic and show you soon 😉).

This year, I'm feeling called to ease into 2022 with some reflection time ☕ while *trying* to savour each moment.

I know many of us are feeling the need to honour the season of winter where things are meant to be a little slower.

Instead of setting resolutions, these prompts will help you shift into the intent and overall energy you want to feel in 2022.

It's a much more powerful way to attract what you want when you know it's frequency ✨.

Cozy up. Grab a pen and paper. Go within. Write from your heart.

I challenge you to think of your January different

I challenge you to think of your January differently this year.

Instead of jumping right into your do to list and turn on your go-go-go mode, take some time to feel into what you want put of this year.

Think of it like when you arrive to your vacation destination spot. You take in the beauty of the surroundings. You allow yourself to be in awe. You gather information about what is available for you to experience. You then make a plan and schedule your activities each day. And finally, you do and DO your vacation. You love it and enjoy it to its fullest, making adjustments as needed.

January is just like the beginning part where you enjoy the new year and feel into what you want to experience.

In my personal experience, I was never the type of person who could "quiet" my mind. This limiting belief had me discount my ability to do meditation for years.

It's not until last year when tried guided soul journeys to venture into my Akashic Records, chat with my soul or meet my spirit guides, that it finally clicked.

For some it's about quieting their mind.

For others, it's about exploring the answer to a question.

And for others, it's about deep healing.

And that's my goal with Meditation Day. To highlight the fun in exploring what might work for you!
